Help Braylon Thrive: Fund His Autism Treatment

Hello, my name is Dawn. I am the mother of an amazing boy named Braylon, who has been diagnosed with autism in Dec of 2023. He was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck and came out blue, lacking oxygen to the brain, which is what I think contributed to his diagnosis, along with inherited genetic traits from his biological mother. He is so smart, analytical, and very observant of everything around him but cannot communicate with words, so he uses sounds and non-verbal actions such as pointing, pulling, screaming, crying, or aggression sometimes to communicate and express himself. It is not his fault, as his actions are not meant to be hurtful to himself or others, but it is the only way he has to communicate. He is very loving and is learning every day with the help of developmental therapy (ABA), OT, ST, and food therapy to help guide and develop his growth with the goal that one day he can function as a normal kid.

He was enrolled in early steps and then was placed in the child find program that assisted with getting him enrolled in Pre-K within the local schools to help with his growth. He is also enrolled in soccer with the goal to help with socialization and give him experience around other children, as he tends to self-isolate and loud noises bother him. He is making new strides every day, but it's not enough, and I have found a doctor in Jacksonville, FL, that does stem cell therapy for autistic children, but it is not covered by insurance, and the parents have to cover the full costs of treatment. I am hoping to raise some money to help assist with his stem cell therapy. The cost of 3 treatments is $12,500 plus the travel to the clinic for treatments. Please help me raise money to assist with my son's treatments. His consultation has been scheduled with the doctor, and then we are just waiting to find out the treatment plan for my son to receive treatments. I promise to keep updates on his progress and his story as he receives and moves through his treatment plan so that everyone can see how this is helping him. Please help me provide this needed medical treatment to give my son the best life he can possibly have as he grows up into the young man he is meant to be.
