<div>Brantley was diagnosed with enlarged kidneys at birth, which later progressed into kidney disease. The condition was initially identified when he was one year old and confirmed again at two and a half years, demonstrating a rapid progression from stage one to stage four within several months. During this period, Brantley participated in a clinical trial that modified his dialysis treatment regimen. He currently attends dialysis sessions four times weekly while continuing his education. At the outset, both kidneys exhibited functionality levels below 35%; following the clinical trial, one kidney now functions at 56% and the other at 61%. A bi-monthly payment covers 20% of his antibiotic treatment costs. Brantley, presently six years old and turning seven in November, is unable to access his medication due to the ongoing government shutdown. Efforts are actively being made to secure funding for his medicine, and additional support him and his mother Shefay would be greatly appreciated.
