<div>Brant Batchelder, his girlfriend Kelly, her mother, and their three dogs have just experienced a tragedy that no one should ever have to face. In the early hours of the morning, Brant was jolted awake by his alarm, only to discover that the front of their house was engulfed in flames. With no time to spare, he had to break windows and screens to get everyone out safely. Kelly’s mother, who relies on oxygen, was inside as well, making the escape even more urgent and terrifying.

<div>While they are grateful to have made it out alive, the losses are heartbreaking. As of right now we know 5 of their beloved cats did not survive the fire. Everything they owned—clothes, cherished belongings, and their home—was lost in an instant. The emotional and physical toll of starting over is immense, and the road ahead is uncertain.
