<p>I’ve spent my entire life fighting to build the family I never had. When I was 11, I was taken from my mom. At 18, she was murdered, and I spiraled into a dark battle with addiction. By 28, I was homeless. But when my first son was born, everything changed. I vowed right then that my wife and boys would never know what it feels like to be abandoned. I worked my butt off to change our story, and I haven’t stopped since.Right now, we have an opportunity to make a fresh start in Arizona, where family is waiting to help us plant new roots. But life just threw us a massive curveball.Over the last month, my truck quit on me. I’ve already poured over $1,500 into it, burning through every dollar of our savings. We are one week away from leaving, and the truck still needs new struts before it's safe to hit the road with my family.I’ve never liked asking for help. I’ve always preferred to sweat it out and figure it out on my own. But as a father and a husband, it’s my responsibility to swallow my pride and do whatever it takes to provide for my family. If you are able to help us cross this final finish line and get our boys safely to Arizona, any support means the absolute world to us. Even a share helps more than you know.
