I am incredibly humbled to be in this position today. Many of you know me as Cade Sydal, but right now I am coming to you all as Branden Green.

In early October I experienced what I can only describe as a rubber band snapping inside my right knee and immediate pain ensued throughout my knee, calf, and thigh. Pretty much the entire leg, and only just convinced the doctors to get me an MRI in April and it finally happened in May. To their surprise I was correct when I initially told them I believed my meniscus was torn.

During this timeframe, my wife also became incredibly ill. It prevented her from working at all, and her doctors are still trying to find the causes of everything. These changes have taken us from a strong two-income family, to a two-income family with reduced checks due to medical restrictions (in October), to a one-income family with a reduced check due to medical restrictions (in May).

And now, with surgery on the horizon, it will take us to a no-income family for at least two months. The past two/three months have already sapped what little savings we had, and this loss of income will cause us to lose our car (which we desperately need to get to physical therapy and her many appointments), our home, and everything else that that entails.

On top of that, I need to have half of the cost of my surgery by Monday (8/11/25) out of pocket. I was attempting to do everything I could to handle it myself, but I have run out of options, thus the urgency.

I am humbly asking for any assistance anyone is willing to provide. My family is eternally grateful for any and all kindness shown to us in our time of need.
