I'm Shari Coulter Ford, the co-founder and CEO of Kansas City-based Tohi ("tow-hee"). We are a startup wellness brand making healthy beverages from a U.S.-grown specialty crop, Aronia Berries. We believe good health starts with nutrition and we want to donate our healthy, immune-boosting beverages to those in need. And the need is growing as the economic impact of the pandemic hits more families.
More than 50 million Americans are experiencing food insecurity and the food banks and assistance organizations that distribute food are experiencing massive food supply gaps -- especially healthy products!
We have a creative solution, but we need your help to make it happen!
We are raising funds to support our donation of $385,000 worth of healthy drinks to food banks and continue to operate our small business. The core ingredient in our drinks comes from small farmers across seven Midwestern states -- so you are supporting these farmers as well!
