Help Bogey get a biopsy!

Hi, my name is Ashley, and I’m reaching out for help for my sweet dog, Bogey. Since December 2024, we’ve been battling ongoing skin issues that just won’t stay gone. We’ve tried multiple rounds of medications, and while they offer some relief, the problems always return—and now they’re getting worse!

Bogey has painful sores on his face and head that bleed and itch constantly. He rubs his face on furniture, breaking open scabs, and he’s clearly uncomfortable. He also now has a severe sore on his bottom that’s adding to his pain and making it even harder for him to get relief. After several vet visits and failed treatments, the next step is a skin biopsy to finally get to the root of the problem. The cost for this procedure is $470, and unfortunately, I just can’t afford it right now. Any additional funds would cover medication and more visits if needed! Also food.

I’m a single mom with no child support and currently out of work due to being laid off end of March 2025. I am actively applying for jobs. I’ve exhausted payment plans and don’t qualify for credit options. I’ve also already used up help from the Humane Society from a to biopsy he had in 2023.

Some have suggested surrendering Bogey, but that’s not an option I’m willing to take. My financial situation is temporary—rehoming him is forever. He’s family. He’s been with me through thick and thin, and I refuse to give up on him now, especially when he needs me most.
