<div>My name is Stephanie Byrd and I’m wanting to help some dear friends out, <strong>Coach Bobby Wyatt and Pam Wyatt</strong>. In February, he had his prostate removed due to prostate cancer. Complications from that surgery led to an ileostomy and a suprapubic catheter. There have been so many trips to Winston-Salem, eating out, and hotel stays. Then he got in with doctors at Duke University to help repair this. So many trips to Duke, hotels, and eating out. He had surgery on June 6th to repair the fistula. So now he has a Foley catheter along with the other stuff. <strong>Monday, June 9th, we had to take him to the local ER for issues with infection.</strong> He was taken by ambulance early June 10th back to Duke University. He did IV antibiotics in the hospital and was released to go home on antibiotics by mouth. The pain continued and drainage. Daily trips to the doctor for antibiotic shots daily. <strong>Thursday, June 19th, calls were made because the pain and drainage were bad.</strong> So we brought him back to Duke University. They did an abdominal CT and discovered a pocket of fluid/infection. He went to surgery today at 12. They opened the incision and cleaned it out, then placed a wound vac. He is on IV antibiotics to hopefully help clear the infection in the pelvic area and rectum. <strong>Monday, June 23rd, the colon doctor and the two other doctors are taking him back to surgery to look at it again to get a game plan.</strong> He has a long road of healing and more surgeries. They have had to get a hotel near the hospital again, eating out, and gas. They have had many people ask how to help. Not what they wanted, but after talking to them, they could really use some help. <strong>Anyone that can help would be greatly appreciated.</strong>
