Help Bobbi Miller Win her Fight with Cancer

My name is Lisa. I first met Bobbi about 15 years ago, at a PetSmart where she was showing rescue dogs ready for adoption. I loved that she had invested time, funds and energy in these homeless animals.  I became a foster for Chesed Pet Rescue that day, and gained a dear friend and a hero. Over the years, Bobbi taught me a lot about the rescue and giving animals a second chance. And giving a family their new best friend. 

Bobbi was diagnosed with cancer last Christmas. Since then, my friend and animal rescue mentor has fought bravely: one surgery and 6 rounds of chemo that knocks her down, but not out.

Failing to achieve remission during her course of chemo, Bobbi now faces the prospect of travelling to Sloan Kettering in NY to start a chemo process with different drugs, and a year of infusions to fight this horrible disease. While Bobbi is fighting bravely, she needs help with the financial end of things. Even after insurance, the costs mount up in travel costs and living costs in NY, deductibles, copays, and medicines and services that are not covered.
