In memory of Bob Hartenfels

I started this fund to help my sister-in-law and her family. Her husband Bob was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer about 6 weeks ago. Needless to say, it was quite a shock since Bob has been healthy thus far, running 6-8 miles a day, eating right and staying active. Since his diagnosis, he has had 2 emergency surgeries and has lost the use of his legs. He will never walk again.

I want to raise money to assist with their medical bills.  Bob has insurance, however it hasn't covered everything and since he has been sent home,  my sister-in-law has had to miss a lot of work to help take care of him. Hospice is only offering a nurse for 4 hours a day. In order for her to get back to work so she can make some money, she needs to hire someone for the other hours she needs to work.

Their son has missed work and some college days. He needs to get back to school. The family is in complete shock and I am hoping to raise as much as I can to help. The doctors are only giving Bob 6 months to live. Hoping to make these last few months as stress free as possible for the family.
