Like many children Jaxon and McKenna have always viewed their dad Blaine as their hero; a Superman and their their idol.
On Wednesday, April 11, 2018 Blaine Waldbauer was diagnosed with an incurable terminal cancer called adenocarcinoma and has started intense chemotherapy treatments to extend and maintain his quality of life. Cancer has been a tragically unrelenting reality in the family as Blaine who is just 46 years old, has previously lost three older brothers in an untimely manner.
As a result of this, Blaine's family and friends are asking for your support to help allow his family to cherish their time together without needing to worry about finances.
We are hoping to provide the family with a weekend away, so that Misty and Blaine can have some days off to create lasting memories for Jaxon and McKenna. In addition we hope to provide support for Misty and the kids to bravely forge ahead through a dreadfully challenging time by assisting with bills, medical costs and education funds.
We need your support and generosity to help keep Blaine's legacy alive.
Blaine's greatest source of pride and deepest connection is rooted in his children McKenna and Jaxon and through your amazing support we can help the children grow to become the best they can be.
Like the vast majority of parents, Blaine strives to provide the best for his children whether through music, dance, cadets, or a future post-secondary education Jamming on his bass with Jax on guitar and watching Kenna dance at her competitions have given Blaine immeasurable jhappiness and pride.
Blaine has a passion for music and the arts and has an unmistakable talent for drawing, singing and playing guitar. Listening to Blaine sing and play has brought peace to many in need of comfort and he makes others smile through his artistic talent and witty humour.
