URGENT FUNDS FOR BLACK TRANS GIRL RECOVERY

cleo (weepingwillowtree) is a DJ and digital media artist from palmdale. the majority of her work explores themes of horror, self discovery and acceptance, and her roots as a black trans woman. she currently needs our support as she is now home after being in the hospital for 2 weeks after a severe accident and mental health crisis. she is now bedridden and cannot walk for 10 weeks, is experiencing extreme pain all over her body, and cannot move without caretaking support. cleo is unable to work and is currently unable to receive unemployment. cleo is a fortifying force for all her loved ones, consistently weaving us together towards the pleasure and deepening of the dimensions she harnesses through her life dedication, love, ferocity, beauty, and sonic worlds. she needs urgent support for the next year. all of these funds will support:

+hospital bills, groceries/food, medication, therapy, home essentials, household supplies, toiletries, cat food, rent, school tuition and supplies, meal support, physical therapy and rehabilitation, healing practitioners, in-home community care expenses as she recovers at home, time off work, and school

     “hello everyone, my name is cleo and im based in los angeles, california. i've been living independently for the past 5 years of my life and have finally been able to get my permit. without a car, surviving in LA is very difficult as i don't live in the best area and riding the bus is very risky since i've started to transition. in 2019 i was assaulted multiple times while traveling by bus and outside of my apartment. i have experienced threats to my life and have been followed and attacked. it is scary for me to travel alone, especially at night. i have been struggling to support myself after i got fired from my last job, while dealing with the trauma of being assaulted, because of racism and transphobia and have not had a stable income since so it is hard to save up. being able to get these funds will give me more freedom to travel without fear for my life, please donate and share..”
