hi, i am a 21 year old Black non binary lesbian. i go to school in MA and am trying to get an apartment there to escape my home permanently. my father, who is my abuser, still has access to me while i am living here and because of this and several other things, my mental and physical health are extremely compromised.
the costs included in my goal are: a flight to MA, rent, and transportation to school (my university is not accommodating students to be online in the fall).
the past year has been very hard for me as i've experienced 5 tragic losses of loved ones. having safe, stable housing will give me the space i need to heal from my experiences of abuse & grief. thank youu, Asé.
