Help Black Doula Return to School for Midwifery

Hey y’all! My name is Fudia! I am starting this GoFundMe so that I can get some assistance in paying off my Howard University debt. This would allow me to finally return to school to become a midwife/Women’s Health nurse practitioner.
During the fall of 2018, I attended Howard University for one semester. My stay was cut short because I could not afford my tuition out of pocket (this was largely because Howard never awarded me my full financial aid package). I also had family issues that required me to return home as well. I ended up leaving school with $8,000 left to pay off. I cannot afford to pay this off by myself because I am my sole financial provider and I do not make enough income to both quickly pay off my debt and survive.
Because I still owe this balance, HU refuses to release my official college transcript. This prevents me from enrolling in a new school. If you can please help me out in any way, you will be greatly appreciated. With your support, I can finally move forward with my life, continue down my career path, and I can move out of my current abusive household.
I would like to share some more information about my career aspirations. I am currently a trained doula. I’m looking to retrain with the National Black Doulas Association later on this year. I am a midwife/Women's Health nurse practitioner in the making.
I have always known that I would follow a path in woman’s/reproductive health and childrearing since I was a kid. Serving, caring for, and honoring my community with my work is all that I want to do. However, this financial burden is severely limiting me from achieving my goals.

Update (08/24/2020): I have secured a new place to live and will be leaving my abusive home finally. A portion of my debt as been covered but I still need help with the remaining amount. If the goal is met and you all continue to donate, the extra fund will still go towards starting school again and getting on my feet on my own.
PS. I want to be as transparent as possible about what these donations are going towards. So here’s a breakdown of the specifics. If there’s any extra it will go towards moving out and my first semester’s tuition back at school.

A portion of my debt has now been covered so the remaining amount that I would need is $5,000.
