An injunction was previously put on the state by a judge in 2022 making the state provide gender affirming care. That was vacated allowing the ban to be reinstated, providing me no notice or communication.

<div>On October 7th my procedure was approved by the state health plan and was scheduled for November 4th, 2025. On October 23rd, I received a new letter now suddenly denying me of the coverage. What previously would have costed me my OOP max deductible (roughly $4,800) had now ballooned to $44,000. This drastic change happened in a mere matter of days.
