Help Bikram and his family rebuild a new home

Greetings to Everyone!

As we all aware of recent flood on 14th June 2021 in Melamchi, Sindupalchowk, Nepal has left scarring impact on the lives of thousands of people residing there and outside. I wish to bring attention to Bikram and his family’s tragic story post flood.

Bikram is 25 years old, young and energetic man who was living his normal life with his family until the flood turned his life upside down. Not only he lost his home, farm, animals and everything his family hard earned all their lifetime, they became homeless and jobless in a flash.

Let alone the flood crisis was hitting hard, Bikram’s dad and family became infected with COVID and became hospitalized. Bikram then became sole bread owner of the family of 5 including himself, father, mother, sister and grandfather in his 70s. Bikram now is living with sack of burden with enormous financial debts. He just wishes to build a new home to provide roof to his family.

It may or may not be your dear ones, but at the end of the day, we all are one. Therefore, I humbly request and reach out to all Nepalese and broader communities in Victoria to show the support and help Bikram build a new home.
