We are members of the NAHB/FBA Teams from the Big Bend Area actively fundraising to compete in the IBS Student Construction Competitions with other teams from all over the country. My teammates and I are very excited and have been diligently working to prepare our housing presentation for a panel of expert judges at the International Builders Show- Las Vegas Convention Center on February 25, 2025.

Participating in construction competitions shows our clubs that we can plan, budget, design and build a project worthy of first place. From this rewarding experience, our clubs are seeking to build bigger and better projects. This past July, the Gadsden Tech Team won the Outdoor Kitchen Challenge at the Southeast Builders Conference held in Orlando, FL. Florida A&M won Rookie of the Year for both of their teams in 2024 Las Vegas Competition. We both are working together to win first prize this year at the national level! This is where your assistance is greatly needed because ...we are taking three teams!

Events like this can be expensive, and to make sure our operations run smoothly and our team presents the best project possible, we need your help. With lodging, transportation, food, and more, a sponsorship from you or your organization will bring us closer to having the perfect project presentation.
