I am currently a resident of Lexington Health &amp; Rehabilitation here in Kenneth City, Florida where I suffer from severe arthritis and lymphedema in my legs, and I require a number of assistive devices for my day-to-day needs and for my physical therapy. In the past I have received your generous support for such things as a wheelchair and for new compression leg sleeves for my sequential circulation machine. I am now also able to use a stand-assist transport unit from my bed to the wheelchair that is provided by the facility.

<div>However, over the past 3 months or so I have had to deal with chronic venous stasis sores just below my right breast and shoulder that have not responded to routine medications.  Therefore I will be scheduled for skin graft surgery as soon as possible at a nearby hospital to be determined, and I will have to make a $500 co-pay.  I am very low in my personal bank account right now, and my irrevocable trust holding the remains of my funds has now been earmarked to pay for the upcharge on my modest 150 square foot private room.  The private room enables me to work for disability reform and progressive goals throughout the United States.  For other medication and personal needs for the next couple months, until I can find another fundraising, paying opportunity, I will also need another $1,000.
