Help Betty Janssen get in motion

Betty for those not aware was the cook at Christine's ( Port Franks) for many years.  This year in May while Betty was visiting with her family in England, she took ill and was hospitalized.  She suffered a spinal bleed, which has left her paralyzed.  She's one in a million.
After several long weeks, tons of paperwork between the Doctor's in England and Canada and the airline, Betty was finally able to be transferred and came back home to Canada.
She has been at Parkwood in London, Ontario getting physiotherapy daily building her upper body strength.  She will be moving to a Longterm Care facility the end of August.  The location being decided by her and her family and availability.
We're holding a Pot Luck fundraiser and Auction on September 29, 2018 to help support Betty with her large expense getting back to Canada as well as out of pocket expenses she may have in her future.  She is purchasing a motorized wheel chair.
