Early Saturday morning, 11/09/24, an arsonist started three fires inside our church. A local fireman coming home from a false alarm saw the smoke, and with his quick action, our sanctuary was saved except for heavy smoke and soot damage. Our library and front entrance are destroyed. A fire was also set in our nursery and upstairs in our youth area. To learn more about our church or see more pictures of the damage, go to our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/bethelpark.umc.

We are seeking to raise $20,000 to cover the cost of the insurance policy deductible and items that are not going to be covered by insurance.

Speaking for myself, and our congregation, we will greatly appreciate any assistance that you may be able to give.
