Help Bernadette get a vehicle !

My mother's vehicle was one of several vehicles stolen from the Scranton area late Wednesday night. After reporting her car stolen to the police, she was informed that there had been a string of vehicle thefts in the area and would be notified if it had been recovered. Last night, she received a phone call from the police department notifying her that her car was found burned in a wooden area in Scranton, only to be identified by its VIN number.  This has left my mother without any form of transportation since she did not have comprehensive car insurance at the time of her car being stolen.

For those who do not know Bernadette, she is a kind soul who would give the shirt off her back for anyone in need. She has been the sole care provider for my 6 year old nephew, her grandson, Evyn, since he was born and I cannot praise her enough for how well she is raising him. In November of 2017, she had been diagnosed with Stage 3 small B cell leukemia.  Without a car, she will not be able to keep up with her doctors appointments and treatments or be able to continue Evyn's extracurricular activites such as basketball, baseball, and swimming. 

I have started this GoFundMe page with hope that the community can come together and help my mother purchase a vehicle in order to not only care for herself and her medical needs, but also for Evyn, who loves sports more than anything else. 

Any donation that can be made, no matter how small would be greatly appreciated to get my mom back on her feet!
