My name is Jennifer, and I am raising funds for Bennett, my sweet dog. Today, Bennett suffered a broken leg after getting into a fight with a neighbor's dog, a dog who used to be his best friend. It has been heartbreaking and traumatic to see him hurt like this. He also suffered a couple of puncture wounds, but they are clean and not life threatening. The leg is another matter. Bennett has a clean spiral fracture of the right humerus, and we are now waiting for a call back from the surgeon's office to find out next steps.

The funds from this fundraiser will go toward Bennett's surgery and related veterinary care. At minimum, he will likely need a plate and screws to repair his leg. There is no getting around the fact that his leg has to be fixed, and I am doing everything I can to make sure he gets the treatment he needs. I'm so sorry to ask, but any help would be so deeply appreciated, by me and by Bennett.
