<div>Their precious baby boy, River, developed what started as a UTI, but the infection entered his bloodstream, landing him in the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles for what has now become a 5-week stay. Doctors attempted a lumbar puncture to rule out meningitis. Unfortunately, the spinal tap was "bloody and traumatic" and the results were compromised. Out of an abundance of caution, River will remain hospitalized for another 21 days. He is only 8 weeks old and will be receiving IV antibiotic infusions twice daily and round-the-clock monitoring.
