<div>On May 16, 2025, <strong>our friends' house, Ben and Gina Sloboda, was targeted by a tornado</strong>, confirmed by the weather service. Many saw their entire roof on Merritt Blvd. Luckily, everyone is safe; however, everything was damaged, especially once the roof was lifted from their home, which was built by my friend's grandfather generations ago. This is a long-standing, good Dundalk family with two very young children who have already been through a lot. The Red Cross came last night and stated they can provide housing temporarily until insurance can evaluate the damage. In the meantime, all their belongings were destroyed.
