Help Bella’s Kidneys Heal

Isabella Chambasis (Bella) is currently in the hospital courageously fighting to restore her kidney functions. On January 29th Bella was admitted to the ICU with upper respiratory failure, anemia and ANCA associated vasculitis which started attacking her kidney’s. Bella has been a healthy active happy child all her life with no signs of any underlying conditions. Since the 29th Bella has recovered from the upper respiratory failure but is still struggling with anemia and kidney functions.
Bella started dialysis treatments and will most likely need them for the foreseeable future. Her mom, Deann Uberti, has been by her side fighting this uphill battle with her. Unfortunately, Deann’s job does not currently offer insurance, and her and the girls do not qualify for any state assistance.
The girls have already received an enormous amount of emotional support through this difficult time but many people who love Bella, Deann, and her other daughter Destiney have been asking how they can help more. Your generosity will support Bella’s outpatient care. It will enable her to continue treatment and medications while Deann continues to search for affordable health care plans for when Bella is released from the hospital. This family has already experienced so much tragedy, between the loss of Deann’s daughter Ariana in 2009 and the loss of Bella’s father Jorge Chambasis in 2011, this family could really use a helping hand. Deann is not one to ask for help, so I am acting on her behalf for this one, every little bit will help this incredible family.
