<div>Hello everyone. My name is Kelly, and unfortunately a couple days ago, we had to admit my baby girl Beebo to the emergency veterinary hospital.

<div>She was showing signs of lethargy, difficulty breathing, and was not interested in eating.

<div>For every pet owner, you know that these are frightening signs that should be taken cared of immediately. She is 3 years and 4 months old. I became her Mommy when she was really young, around 5 weeks old. 

</div>

<div>These past few days have been scary and heartbreaking for me, fearing the worst outcome. After being admitted to the hospital we were told she has a diagnosis of <strong>Congestive Heart Failure</strong> and <strong>Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy</strong>. (I will place information about these diagnosis below).

<div>After blood tests, X-rays, medications, being placed on oxygen, etc, She miraculously pulled through overnight and responded well to the treatment. 

</div>

<div>She has since been discharged but will need to be on medications for the rest of her life, as well as more veterinary check ups, and a strict food diet. The lifespan of here diagnoses is anywhere between 6 months to a year, or more with proper long term care and treatment. 

</div>

<div>Ultimately, the medical bills are just <em>around $4000. </em>There was no hesitation in paying for these bills, but we did have to open a Credit Care Credit Line to pay at the time of the hospital. 

</div>

<div>I have never asked for money, donations, or anything before from anyone, but if you would consider any donations to help cover the costs of her medical bills, we <strong>Thank you from the bottom of hearts. </strong>

<div>We plan to continue to work hard to pay off the bill, and future costs of vet visits. Mom and Dad of Beebo both work full time, but any consideration of a donation will help us in the meantime.

<div><strong>Congestive heart failure (CHF)</strong> in cats is a condition where the heart muscle weakens, making it unable to pump blood efficiently. This leads to a buildup of fluid in the lungs (pulmonary edema) and other parts of the body.

</div>

</div>

<div><strong>Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)</strong> is a serious heart condition in cats that thickens the heart's left ventricle, the main pumping chamber. This thickening, called hypertrophy, can impair the heart's ability to pump blood and relax. While there's no cure, treatments can help.
