<div>Becky is a 39-year-old mum who fought for 12 long years through infertility to bring her miracle baby Maddison into the world. Maddison, now 4, is the light of her life — a bright, bubbly little girl with boundless energy and a heart full of love.

<div>But since Maddison’s birth, Becky’s health has taken a devastating turn.

<div>She was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) — a rare and painful genetic disorder that affects connective tissue. In just two years, she’s endured 11 major surgeries, including complex reconstructions of her spine, sacroiliac joints, neck, and hip.

<div>Then, in early 2025, Becky was rushed in for emergency brain surgery. A colloid cyst — a rare brain tumour — had grown and was blocking the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, causing dangerous pressure in her brain. She underwent a full craniotomy to survive. The recovery was brutal, and included memory loss and long-term fatigue. Despite this, Becky never gave up.

<div>Recently, there was finally a glimmer of hope: she was approved for a total hip replacement in September. She was overjoyed — excited to heal, return to work, and begin building a safe, stable life for herself and Maddison.

<div>But just last week, her world was shattered again.

<div>A follow-up MRI has revealed that the brain tumour is back — and it’s bigger than before. This tumour is a ticking time bomb. Left untreated, it could lead to sudden death. And this time, Becky has no financial safety net.

<div>All her savings have been exhausted. She is now in debt from past surgeries, unable to work, and completely overwhelmed by the burden of navigating this life-threatening condition while being a parent to a vibrant, active little girl who needs her mum.

<div>Becky’s biggest fear isn’t just the tumour — it’s leaving Maddison without her mum.
