Meet the Schoenebergs. Travis, Beckie, and George have been residents of Montgomery County since 2005, Travis is a Tanker Driver for a local cement company, Beckie is a retired County Clerk.
Beckie is 64 years old. She is proud to be a wife of 23 years and to be mother to her talented teenage son. Beckie is also an accomplished vocalist, writer, psalmist, and home school mom.
In the past three months, Beckie discovered a few lumps on her neck and thigh. After a battery of probing tests and costly procedures Beckie was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) know as Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. More preparations and tests were planned to prepare Beckie for a Chemotherapy regimen. However after prayer, research and more prayer, the Schoenebergs decided to turn to a comprehensive Holistic Homeopathic treatment.
The bills for the first 3 lab tests, 2 ultra-sounds, CT scan and 2 biopsies, not including the fees for the oncologist and other specialists involved, will easily total the hospital bill at almost $7000. These are estimated costs to the family after insurance payments.
While not as drastic physically or financially as the traditional medical treatment, this new program is still well beyond the means of the family, so we are asking for your help.
The new plan is not covered by any type of medical insurance. The start- up fees will be $7500 which should cover the first 4-6 weeks.There will also be necessary dental procedures involved with currently undetermined amounts. Then there will be monthly visits and fees which will slowly ebb out to $150 - $300, depending upon the effectiveness of the treatment. Altogether the cost may go as high as $20-25,000 in total.
