Help Isla get Helmet Hair!

Donation protected

Our primary doctor noticed Isla's ears weren't lining up.  And he had us go to a doctor that specializes in baby's head shape. They did a bunch of measurements, and told us this: The way Isla was carried in the womb, her head has been shaped sort of like a Kidney bean.  This is known as Plagiocephaly, and she is in the moderate to severe category of this issue.  Although there are not always concern's that come with a head being oddly shaped.  It is possible to cause brain issues, long term.  It could also cause her to get Torticollis, which is basically a crooked neck.  Which could also have some long term effects.

Our goal is to try and get this helmet covered.  We've submitted all the information to Insurance, and it got denied.  My insurance does not cover specialty items.  We've also applied for Credit services that would lend us money for the helmet and pay it back over time.  However, we've gotten denied for those.  Between hospital bills and school plans, our credit does not allow for us to be approved for this type of loan.

Even if we could just get part of the loan covered, we'd be happy.  Anything would help.  We just want bean to be happy, well, and healthy.  That is our primary concern.  For her to grow up with the best health and wellness we can possibly provide for her.
And in some cases, that may mean we have to ask for help.  This will go towards bean getting her helmet, and not having  to deal with the types of issues it could cause for her in her future.

The helmet would be worn for 3-4 months, 23 hours a day.  With an hour for bath time and multiple wellness visits to make sure that her head is not only shaping properly, but to make sure that not adjustments need to be made.  And to also make sure we are taking the proper care necessary to keep her healthy while she's wearing the helmet.

Thank you everyone.

Loan Denial:

TLDR: Isla needs a helmet to shape her head, and make sure she doesn't have long term issues.  We need your help to afford this expensive helmet, because we were turned down for credit services and insurance doesn't cover it.  Thank you for your help, it would mean the world to us.
