Meet Bean, a brave 4-month-old, 12-pound mixed breed pup with a heart full of resilience. Bean’s journey hasn’t been easy. Three weeks ago, he started limping, indicating something was wrong. His previous family took him to the vet but refused X-rays to diagnose the issue. Instead, Bean was sent home with pain medication and instructions to return if the limp persisted after four days. Sadly, they never returned.

Fast forward to over two weeks later, a much-needed X-ray revealed the heartbreaking truth: Bean had been limping with a shattered patella all along. Due to the neglect and delay in treatment, the only viable option was to amputate his leg. His previous family, confronted with the daunting costs of surgery, made the decision to leave Bean at the vet's office.

But Bean’s story doesn’t end there. We couldn’t bear to see this resilient pup suffer any longer. We stepped in and took Bean under our care, and he’s been making an incredible recovery ever since!

Now, we need your support to ensure Bean receives the care and love he deserves. We're raising funds to cover the following expenses:

1. Amputation Surgery: Bean has already undergone the necessary surgery to remove his shattered patella, but the costs remain significant.
