Hi friends,
My name is Elizabeth, and I’m fundraising to support the medical care of my dog Baxter: my gremlin, guardian angel, and constant companion.
Baxter has been by my side through some of the hardest chapters of my life: a relationship that wasn’t meant for me, a toxic job, and years of mental health recovery. He’s more than a dog to me. He’s part protector, part trickster spirit, and pure heart.
Recently, Baxter began experiencing ongoing gastrointestinal issues: vomiting, nausea, and visible discomfort. After a concerning visit to the emergency vet, the doctor shared that Baxter may have a GI blockage or chronic gastrointestinal disease. He’s currently on medication and a bland diet while we monitor his symptoms closely, but he’ll need X-rays and bloodwork soon to understand what’s going on and how best to treat him.
Right now, I’m doing everything I can to give him the care he needs: vet visits, diagnostic tests, medication, a special diet, and daily support. But the bills are stacking up quickly, and I can’t afford to cover everything on my own.
Baxter is still his expressive, vocal self (he always lets me know how he’s feeling!), but I know when something isn’t right. He’s a small dog with a big spirit, and he deserves to feel good in his body again.
If you’re able to contribute to his medical fund, you’ll be helping me give my little guardian the chance to heal and thrive. Any amount truly makes a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this page is also an incredible help.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
