Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be making one of these, but my sweet girl Basil needs some extra help right now.

Basil has been my whole world since she was just 2 months old. She’s been with me through everything, my rock, my best friend, and my constant little shadow. She’ll be 11 in December, and I just want her to have as many happy, healthy years as possible.

After some scans, the vets found several concerning masses, including four on her spleen. To protect her from future internal bleeding or potential cancer, the safest option was to remove them. Basil is in surgery right now having her spleen and the masses removed.

Because of this, her hospital stay is longer and the costs are now about double what I had prepared for. I’m doing everything I can, but I could really use some help to make sure Basil gets the care she needs.

Anything you can give will go straight to her surgery and recovery. Even just sharing this means so much to me.
