Mama Joy's Cancer Fighting Team

If you know me, you know that I have a strong and beautiful group of women who I call my Sisters of the Heart.  We are a rowdy, loving, fierce group.  In this, my Sisters of the Heart,  we have some sisters who mean the world to me.  Their mom is Barie; she is a loving, peaceful, beautiful soul who is in all of our hearts and is absolutely one of us.  She has the patience of a saint, a smile that lights up a room and she brings the healthy stuff to our pot lucks.  Barie was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago; the sisters rallied and now we need to rally again and we need help this time.

Last week Barie was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer throughout her body -  so dibilating that she is  unable to work.  When she faught this battle  2 years ago,  the chemo she received  was so aggressive they cannot give it to her again.  Now, she is forced to look into alternative options such as clinical trials and immunotherapy which may or may not be covered by insurance.  Due to the seriousness of the diagnosis she needs to begin treatment right away.  Any donation to go towards her medical and living expenses would be a tremendous help.
