Help Barbara restore hot water to her home

On December 22 I discovered a swamp in the bedroom. I could not determine where the water was coming from. It being that time of year, I had to wait for the insurance company to send out someone to hunt down where the water was coming from...it was my water heater. And oh my, it was a mess...So, I turned off the water. Next came the people to dry out the "house". They ripped up my "newish" carpet, cut it and threw it out. It was in the adjacent bathroom so they cut up the linoleum. All stuff I had done when I had the place renovated. Yes, my heart dropped. The plumber took out the water heater and this is really where the story begins. Once out it revealed the worst of scenarios, the pipes that are in the place are copper and had all corroded. Pipes were pissing the peeing boy in Brussels. So do I replace just the water heater and hope the pipes last until after I die. Not likely. So I am replacing the pipes now along with the water heater and all the rotted flooring. Really, it could use more but a lot more but that is enough. At least I will have hot water and it will be good until after I'm gone! The cost of the project is $6829. I've already given the plumber $1500. Bank gave me a loan for $3600. I'm still short $1800. I am asking for $7000 to pay toward the load because it is high interest.
I've never done this before, but as you know Arizona teachers aren't paid well. I need help and I have no one ask for help but you!
