Help Barbara & Lawrence After Fire

Donation protected
My sister gave birth to her second baby boy on December 30th. Just 2 days after getting home, her neighbor’s home caught on fire which spread to her home and other units during the first major snow storm of the season. Barbara was inside her house with Nasir (6 days old) while her husband was out with Marley (2 years) and Rouge (their doggy). Barbara heard the fire alarm and rushed to see if her neighbor was okay. He couldn’t open the door from inside his home, so she helped him out. Smoke then filled the upper level apartments, Barbara ran into her apartment wrapped the baby in blankets and ran out of the house with a t-shirt and socks. Although they lost everything, we’re happy that everyone is safe.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help someone who is sweet and caring get back on her feet.  Caring for a new baby and toddler is overwhelming enough. After the birth of a baby, you should be filled with joy, not worried about dealing with a fire and losing everything you worked so hard for.

They lost everything: clothes for baby and Marley, diapers, food, personal information, etc.
