Help Barb, while she grieves the loss of her son.
This picture embodies, every dream come true, as Barb the blushing bride, stood next to her son, Douglas, the loving supportive son.
Sadly in the past few days Barb got devastating news in her Ontario home, her son, Douglas, the pool playing lovable guy, was violently murdered. You may have seen or read about it on the news here (warning graphic descriptions are included). Or maybe you haven't. But that is beside the point.
Christmas is supposed to be a happy time of year, making plans to visit family, rushing to find that perfect gift, but for Barb, its every parent's worst nightmare. No parent should EVER outlive their child, nor should they ever have to bury them. But sadly, this is exactly what Barb has to do. So we are calling on the kindhearted, the generous, and the compassionate, to step up and lend Barb a hand, who thankfully with an understanding landlord, was able to put off December's rent, just to afford the flight from Ontario to Edmonton, Canada, just to have to make arrangements.
SP Gaming's Co-Owner "DJ_Spirit_" (as he is known on twitch) heard about the plight, while chatting with one of his viewer's TurboLunii, who is a close friend of the family, and now, here we are, standing united, as streamers, trying to help Barb at least financially deal with a difficult time.
The $10,000 CAD will help Barb, recover costs for rent lost for travel expenses, cover funeral expenses, allow her to pick up some quick or ready to eat meals (so she doesn't have to spend time making meals during this trying ordeal) and will at least help bring some level of comfort financially. We will be doing a 24 hour live stream on DEC 7th 2019 at https://www.twitch.tv/DJ_Spirit_ where all donations (unless otherwise specifically stated at time of donation) and all cheers will be donated to this campaign as well. We encourage you to reach out to local media, to reach out to employers to see if they will match your donations here, and our goal is to show Barb, she is not alone! We also hope to see the person/s responsible behind bars.
