 We all know what it feels like to need a little support to move forward. Sometimes, a small act of kindness at the right moment can make a much bigger difference than we realize.
</div>

<div>
 We are starting this fundraiser for Banu, a 22 year old young woman from Samsun, Turkey, who moved to Germany in 2024 to build an independent future through education.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Today, <strong>that future is at risk</strong> because of a financial gap that she cannot close on her own.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Banu is pursuing <strong>two Bachelor's degrees at the University of Duisburg-Essen</strong>, in teaching English and History, while working alongside her studies. She still has at least three years of education ahead of her.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Her family is currently facing financial difficulties and cannot provide the support she needs. Banu has been working, saving, and doing everything she can to build her own future. Now, she needs a little help from us to keep going.

 “I came to Germany to pursue my education and build a meaningful career and stable life. I have always wanted to work in education because I believe a good teacher can change the direction of a young person's life.

 <strong>Alongside my studies, I work part-time and save whenever I can.</strong> I have worked in a supermarket, an ice cream café, and a stationery shop in Germany and Turkey.
</div>

 Germany requires international students to demonstrate €11,904 in financial means for one year to maintain their student residence permit. I have already saved almost €3,000 myself, but because of my family's financial situation, <strong>I still need to raise almost €9,000 by October.</strong>

<div>
 If I cannot meet this financial requirement, my student residence and my ability to continue my education in Germany will be at risk. I have worked hard to make this happen, and it is difficult to ask for help. But I don't want financial circumstances to decide whether I get to finish what I started.

 Banu, Duisburg-Essen Üniversitesinde İngilizce ve Tarih öğretmenliği olmak üzere <strong>iki lisans programında aynı anda eğitim görüyor</strong> ve eğitimine devam ederken aynı zamanda çalışıyor. Önünde tamamlaması gereken en az üç yıllık eğitimi daha var.

 Ailesi şu anda maddi açıdan zor bir dönemden geçiyor ve Banu’ya ihtiyaç duyduğu desteği sağlayamıyor. Banu ise bugüne kadar elinden geleni yaptı; çalıştı, birikim yaptı ve kendi geleceğini kendi emeğiyle kurmaya çalıştı. Şimdi ise yoluna devam edebilmek için biraz desteğimize ihtiyacı var.

 Almanya’da uluslararası öğrencilerin öğrenci oturumlarını uzatabilmeleri için yeterli maddi kaynaklarını göstermeleri gerekiyor. 2026 yılı için bu miktar bir yıllık yaşam giderleri için 11.904 €. Ben bugüne kadar kendi imkanlarımla yaklaşık 3.000 € biriktirdim. Ancak ailemin içinde bulunduğu maddi durum nedeniyle, <strong>Ekim ayına kadar yaklaşık 9.000 € daha toplamam gerekiyor.</strong>
