My name is Eva Butler, and I am reaching out for your help. In October 2024, I had the privilege of traveling to Ghana on a mission trip with the New Testament Church of God in Southampton, led by Pastor Samuel Thomas. During our tour of Ghana, the highlight was spending time in a village called Bantama in the Atebubu region. Living alongside the humble and kind people in this village opened my eyes to the reality of poverty, and it has inspired me to make a difference where I can.
For my first mission project, I organized a fundraiser to fill two barrels with food, toiletries, and used clothing as Christmas gifts. It was a wonderful success. Now, I am working on the next phase of my mission: raising funds to build a kindergarten classroom and restroom at the Hope In Christ Educational Complex in Bantama. As a retired childcare worker, I am dedicated to this cause, and I believe it can have a lasting impact on the lives of the children in this community.
I am committed to helping children in need. Bantama is a cassava farming community where women often carry their children on their backs while working in the fields. This practice causes back and hip pain, which can eventually lead to sciatica. That’s why we urgently need a kindergarten room for children between 6 months and 3 years old.
Our goal is to raise £5,000 to complete and equip this essential project.
Matthew 5:14-16 says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
One love.
