Please help Bandit get her TPLO ( Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery on her right knee (stifle).
This is a very debilitating condition that causes severe pain in her right knee (stifle) by her femur and tibia rubbing together. In humans the equivalent is reconstructive knee surgery. This very painful condition keeps her from being the active, fun-loving dog that she used to be.

Two years ago we gladly paid for Bandit's TPLO surgery on her left knee and it was very successful, Bandit was soon back to happily running through the woods and up and down the hills to her heart's content.
Our vet warned us that there was a good possiblilty that the other knee would go out and require the same surgery. Unfortunately, this was the case with Bandit and her right knee now needs this very expensive surgery.
At the time we could afford to have the surgery performed on her left knee but now we have recently suffered a severe financial setback and just can't see anyway that we can pay for her surgery now without help. We have tried all alternative treatments and therapies and they just aren't working, she is getting progressively worse.
We raised her from puppy hood hiking through the woods (we live in the mountains) and that is all she wants to do. She is so used to running free, exploring and having doggy fun but now we have to restrain her on a leash for short, painful, 15 minute walks.
She is miserable, she looks so sad, she wants to run and play but if we give in and let her run even a little she always over does it she whines in pain and limps for days.
Right now she can still use her right leg but it is getting worse, soon she won't be able to use it and will have to hobble around on her three good ones and never get to go running and exploring again, it breaks my heart, I love her so much and want only the best for her. It kills me that I can't help her, please help Bandit become the happy and fun-loving dog like she used to be again.
Please, any donation will help!
