Some children in Bali are missing out on critical medical treatment that affects their daily lives. This treatment would be readily available in Australia.
9-year-old girl Kadek Dwi suffers from a heart defect and malnutrition. She comes from the very poor Buleleng area where she lives in a very simple house with her parents and older sister.
Kadek Dwi had cardiac catheterisation in December last year and is now waiting for the next treatment decision from her cardiologist. She requires $175 per month for her ongoing treatment, basic food parcel and milk powder to increase her strength.
Restu is only 7-years-old also from the same region. He has been diagnosed with a heart defect, developmental delays and a cleft palate. He cried constantly because of agonizing toothaches (aside-effect of the cleft palate), however, dental extraction surgery has helped this.
He now requires a monthly check up with a cardiologist and needs funds for transportation, milk powder and a basic food parcel. His next surgery is scheduled for October. Little Restu needs $55 per month for the next year.
With your help, we can help with the medical treatment and rehabilitation for the next 12 months of these 2 beautiful children, who without your help, will be living in poverty, sickness and pain.
