Help Baby Nico

 My friend Shella and Rex gave birth to Nico last September 18, 2018 in Fe del Mundo Medical Center, Philippines. The doctors told them that their baby has TRISOMY 18, also called as EDWARDS SYNDROME, a very rare disease/condition. The doctor’s findings is based on physical appearance and they’re still waiting for the result of the chromosomal test to confirm his condition.

Shella is already home but BABY NICO is still at the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with tubes connected to him. Respirator to help him breathe and even drinks milk through tube. The doctors are doing their best to make him better.
For Shella, the hardest part of giving birth is not the labor pains, not even the nervous feeling while on delivery room, nor the excruciating pain during and after. It’s when you get to go home without your baby beside you. Heartbreaking. Unbearable. So painful.
We know that there are family and friends praying for Nico’s improvement. Yes, you may call us selfish but we’re still asking for more prayer warriors for Nico. Nico knows that the world is waiting for him to get better.

We are also humbly asking for financial help. We couldn’t afford all the hospital bills and expenses. They are still planning to transfer Nico, if possible, to a more affordable hospital or in a government hospital.
Please help Nico get home with his family.
