<div>Help Baby Minnie Piña Fight for Her Heart ❤️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On <strong>March 12, 2026, Minnie Marlene Piña</strong> was born and immediately began the fight of her life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Just weeks before her birth, Minnie’s parents, Jeremie and Stephanie Piña, learned during a routine ultrasound that their baby girl had a rare and severe congenital heart condition called <strong>Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). </strong>In Minnie’s case, <strong>the left side of her heart did not fully develop</strong>, making it impossible for her heart to pump blood to her body without immediate and ongoing surgical care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When Minnie was born, she was immediately stabilized, intubated, and transported to <strong>Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta,</strong> where doctors began life-saving treatment. Within hours, surgeons performed an emergency <strong>septostomy procedure</strong> to create a connection between the chambers of her heart so blood could circulate. Soon after, she underwent another urgent surgery to place <strong>pulmonary artery bands</strong> to stabilize her circulation and prepare her for the <strong>Norwood procedure</strong>, the first in a series of complex open-heart surgeries required for children with HLHS.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Stephanie is recovering from a C-section while Jeremie remains by Minnie’s side as their brave newborn continues to fight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Piña family is navigating this incredibly difficult time while also caring for <strong>their two young children at home. </strong>Jeremie is currently finishing medical school and preparing to begin <strong>residency training this summer</strong>, making this already overwhelming situation even more challenging for their family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The road ahead will include <strong>multiple surgeries, extended hospital stays, and ongoing specialized cardiac care for life.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised will help support the Piña family with:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• Medical and surgical expenses
</div>
<div>• Travel, lodging, and time away from work
</div>
<div>• Care for their children during extended hospital stays
</div>
<div>• Ongoing treatment and recovery needs for Minnie
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you feel moved to help, <strong>any donation, prayer, or message of encouragement means the world to this family </strong>as they focus all their strength on Minnie’s fight.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>❤️ Thank you for surrounding Minnie and the Piña family with love and support.</strong>
