Help Baby Lyanna Go Home

Please help our friends April and Richard get their baby home from the hospital. In the Philippines, a patient cannot be discharged until all bills are paid and settled. April had to deliver Baby Lyanna early due to pre-eclampsia. April and Richard had saved enough funds to cover bills for a regular delivery but, due to the pre-eclampsia complications, hospital and doctor bills were three times what they had saved. Baby Lyanna was delivered preterm and had to be in an incubator. Through God's grace, both April and baby are now healthy. April was able to go home but she could not take her baby with her! They need around Php220,000, or $5,000 USD, to settle their bills so Baby Lyanna can go home. This is just very heartbreaking that a baby not only has to spend her first weeks here on Earth inside a machine but also cannot go home now even though she is able to breathe on her own. It is as if the baby is being held hostaged by the medical bills that her parents cannot pay. In addition, the bills CONTINUE TO ADD UP since the baby is still in the hospital! This is so unnerving to say the the least. Please help us send Baby Lyanna home to her mommy and daddy. Below is her dad's plea.
A FATHER’S PLEA
This is to humbly ask your kind heart for any help you can extend to our family. My wife was rushed to Perpetual Help hospital last 18 Dec 2017 9pm due to severe headache and hypertension. She was diagnosed with Pre-Eclampsia that night. Her doctor advised my wife should be admitted to the hospital and terminate the pregnancy if necessary. That day, all incubators at Perpetual Help hospital was occupied. So we were advised by her doctor to transfer to Asian Hospital were she’s accredited too. On 19 December 2017, our baby Lyanna Cassidy was born via emergency Caesarian section due to pre-eclampsia and was in the incubator since then. We prepared for this pregnancy. So my wife can give birth thru CS in a private hospital that’s why we had arranged 150k for hospital bills. We didn’t anticipate we will be facing life-threatening circumstance. Now my wife and our new baby is still here in the hospital with sky-high hospital bills that goes even higher every day.
As of 21 December, hospital bill for my wife was 100k plus 110k for doctor’s professional fee. And another 110k for baby Cassidy’s running bill. We need approximately 250k so my wife can be discharged.
