<div>Kash had another good day. He had an elevated heart rate but was not really storming yesterday. He got that other eye open a little bit again yesterday. Big thing he did yesterday!They got him a little wheelchair to move him around in and start working on some outside therapy! Today was mostly trying to make sure he could be positioned in the chair. He also had some beautiful music therapy while he was getting positioned! He seemed to love it all! We had to throw some extra stuffies and some other things to help make his own chair in the chair but it worked out great! He relaxed in his chair for a good while. The more he sat the more he was trying to wake up, we saw some big signs of him trying to wake up as well. He was moving his hand and head and tried opening both eyes!As the days go on we’ll be able to start wheeling him around the hospital and going outside. Big day! The doctor said they’re working everyday and he shouldn’t be in the ICU much longer. Than we will go to in-patient rehab upstairs. Everyday is better than the last! I read him the book “Love you forever” while he was in the chair and couldn’t help my shed some tears everytime I read “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.” Our little man is doing amazing everyday!

<div>Update from Matt 3/20:
</div>
<div>Yesterday and last night was much better than the night before. His room was readjusted to accompany a low stimulation environment (turned down the lights, quiet voices, minimal touching, quiet movies in the background) it has done great for him just calming down as his mind is waking up. He got a nice shampoo hair wash last night from one of his favorite nurses. They are still adjusting his medicine trying to find the fine line between just calm and plain asleep. Today will be a good day I can feel it. They are going to do some physical therapy today to get his body and his mind active so we will see how that goes. Thank you thank you thank you everyone for all of your prayers, love, and support. I will keep y’all updated per usual.

<div>Update for this morning, Kash has been completely taken off his seizure suppressant and sedation and everything is still looking great. They are still unable to tell when he might start waking up as it has to work out of his system. His blood pressure meds are continuously going down as he is stabilizing his own blood pressure. They are going to try to start feedings of Pediasure the lower his meds go. I cannot thank everyone enough for their continued prayers they are working and he feels every one of them. He will come out of this stronger than ever with God’s will. Today will be a great day!

He was flown to Dell Children’s in Austin, where he is in critical condition.
