<div>Wir sind Dominik 42J, Stephanie 38J, Luisa 7J, Pauline 5J und Frieda 1J. Wir leben in Deutschland im wunderschönen Bayern. Unser Nesthäkchen Frieda kam am 06.05.2022 erstmal für alle gesund zur Welt. Als am 3.Lebenstag das Grauen begann! Sie bekam plötzlich Krampfanfälle. Es wurden sämtliche Untersuchungen gemacht und Medikamente ausprobiert, jedoch ohne Erfolg! Nach sieben langen Wochen Klinikaufenthalt kam die Genetik mit dem Befund KCNQ2 Mutation! Dieser geht mit Epilepsie, globaler Entwicklungsverzögerung, Muskelhypotonie einher. Frieda hat schon sieben verschiedene Medikamente bekommen, aber keines bringt uns Anfallsfreiheit. Jetzt soll eine ketogene Diät versucht werden in der Hoffnung das diese hilft!

<div>Sie ist immer noch wie ein Baby. Sie hat kein Kopf und Rumpfkontrolle, kann nicht greifen, sich nicht drehen geschweige denn sitzen oder stehen! Sie bekommt 2x/Woche Physiotherapie, 1x/Woche Ergotherapie und 1x/woche Heilpädagogik. Bisher haben wir noch keine großen Fortschritte in ihrer Entwicklung gesehen!

<div>Also sind wir immer auf der Suche nach neuen Therapien und Behandlungsmethoden die Frieda in irgendeiner Weise helfen könnten!

<div>So sind wir auf All Kids are perfect aus Cary NC gestoßen. Sie behandeln Kinder mit Entwicklungsverzögerung und Bewegungsstörungen und sämtlichen Beeinträchtigungen und was wir gesehen haben, mit sehr viel Erfolg. Wir hatten schon zwei videocalls mit Dana Broughton. Wir würden sie aber gerne zur Intensivtherapie in Amerika aufsuchen. Leider ist das mit immensen Kosten für uns als Familie verbunden für Flüge ✈️ Unterkunft und 2 Wochen Therapie!

<div>On May 6th, 2022, Frieda came into this world, a beacon of joy and innocence. However, fate had other plans, and on the third day of her life, their world turned into a storm of uncertainty and fear. Frieda began experiencing seizures, and what followed were seven agonizing weeks in the hospital.

<div>The diagnosis revealed a challenging path ahead—Frieda has a KCNQ2 mutation, leading to epilepsy, developmental delays, and muscle hypotonia. Doctors have tried seven different medications, but none have granted the family relief from the relentless seizures. Now, they are embarking on the hopeful journey of a ketogenic diet, praying it brings some respite.

<div>Imagine a world where a baby struggles to grasp, sit, or stand. Frieda, at just 1 year old, faces these challenges every day. Physiotherapy and occupational therapy are constants in her life, yet progress seems elusive.

<div>In their unwavering love and commitment, Dominik and Stephanie have sought every possible avenue for Frieda's well-being. Recently, they discovered a glimmer of hope in "All Kids are Perfect" from Cary, NC. They treat children with developmental delays and movement disorders and all disabilities and from what we have seen with great success! We've seen many success stories of children with developmental delays and movement disorders that have been receiving treatment at "All Kids are Perfect".

<div>Now, the family dreams of taking Frieda to America for intensive therapy with Dana Broughton at "All Kids are Perfect". However, this dream comes with a heavy financial burden—flights, accommodation, and two weeks of therapy pose immense costs for this resilient family.
