Help Baby Ezra's Heart Battle For Life

Hello friends, family, and fellow kind humans. I am fundraising for my sister Haylie and her family who were just faced with every parent's worst nightmare. Below is an update from Haylie who is trying to navigate this situation on top of caring for her 1-year-old daughter as the hospital is over 3 hours away from home. They are two young parents who are going to need a lot of support as they help Ezra in the fight for his life. Any donation is appreciated and will help in this journey to assist with the financial strain of taking time off work, travel, housing, etc.

As parents, they say you have an instinct when something’s not quite right with your child. Alex and I made a judgment call that ultimately saved our little boy’s life. To say the least, the last 24hrs have been a living nightmare.

We were transferred from the NICU at Mercy via helicopter and now are in good hands at CVICU at LR Childrens Hospital. We have a long road ahead of us and surgery is inevitable in order for Ezra to be able to have a normal and healthy childhood. It’s just a matter of when that surgery(ies) will be.
