Help Baby Avery Beat Leukemia
Avery woke up her normal happy self on Wednesday, December 16th. Two days before she turned 2 months old.
Her mom noticed two swollen lymph nodes and called the pediatrician, who suggested they come in.
By 6pm, Avery had been diagnosed with Leukemia and is facing at least one month in the hospital as she begins chemo.
It’s incredibly rare to find in an infant this young, but here we are. Helping our sweet baby fight cancer.
Any size donation helps as mom & dad spend each day at the hospital alongside their baby, they need money to eat, pay to park, gas, hotel fees, and medical bills.
MAY UPDATE: Although Avery went into remission in January , we received the devastating news that she had relapsed in April. They will now quit her current chemotherapy and begin CAR T Cell therapy . (Hence the new adjusted goal).
AUGUST UPDATE: Avery has completed CAR-T Therapy, and after a terrifying 2-week hospital stay for CRS and neurotoxicity , she is now headed to Bone Marrow Transplant (hence the updated amount needed for transplant).
