Help Baby Austin and his Family

Austin Barton is a 4 month old superhero that just battled an extreme case of intussusception. Intussusception is a condition in which part of the intestine telescopes into itself. On 3/17 Austin started experiencing some fussiness, vomiting, and he had several bloody diapers. His parents, Mike and Savanna, rushed him to Akron Children's in Boardman where he was diagnosed and life flighted to Akron Children's main campus. The doctor's tried several non surgical procedures to correct the intussusceiption, but ultimately they were all unsuccessful. Austin was taken back for surgery early Saturday morning. The surgeons said that the intussusception was extensive and unfortunately their attempt to repair the damage laparoscopicly failed, as did their attempt to use two small incisions. Austin ended up with 6 incisions, one of which extends across his whole belly, but the surgery was successful. Austin is in a lot of pain, but he's being very strong and made stronger by the support and love of his parents and big brother, Evan. The surgeon said that his bowels were badly bruised and it looks like he now has paralytic ileus, which means that his bowels have not yet woken up. If they don't wake up then the surgeons will need to go back in and remove some of the bowel. Which would most likely result in him needing a colostomy bag. We are all hopeful that his bowels will start working on their own and that another surgery won't be needed. Austin will stay at Akron Children's Hospital in Akron until he has regular bowel function and is eating as normal. I want to give my friend and her family the opportunity to care for their 4 month old baby without the constant stress of money. I don't want them to worry about the cost of eating at the hospital, gas to Akron, parking, babysitters for their oldest Evan, missed days of work, and mostly the massive medical bills that are undoubtedly stacking up. They dont deserve that added stress, no one does. Please help me to raise money so that this family can focus on what's important, the health of their adorable and loving 4 month old superhero.
