Help Baby Anneliese

Donation protected
This beautiful baby is Anneliese.   She was born with a rare genetic disorder called Glycogen Storage Disease. (GSD) She has 3 siblings, and her older brother James has the same disorder.  She has already needed to surgery to have a feeding tube inserted, as she will need to fed every 2 hours around the clock to help maintain her blood sugar.  She needs daily injections of medication to boost her white blood cell count to help her immune system, and frequent blood sugar monitoring.  She will need nursing care at home around the clock, as does her brother.  This family is in need of a larger home, a van for transportation, and assistance for medical bills. We are hoping to raise funds to help them care for their famiy and raise awareness for Glycogen Storage Disease.  If you are able to help financially, it would be greatly appreciated.  Even small donations add up.  Please read the update below from Anneliese's mom. She so beautifully expresses her faith and love of the Lord in the midst of dealing with serious issues.  She is an inspiration to everyone.  Please pray for them, and please help us meet our goal to help.

"This was not the outcome we prayed for, but it's what we've been given, and God will give us the means and grace to handle it. He promises that all things work together for good for those who love Him, so we trust in that. James will always have a buddy now going through the same things he is. They will have each other and be able to help and support each other. Prayerfully, with all the knowledge we have gained, Anna will not have to go through as many of the issues James has. There is a plan and a purpose to all of this, and I'm sure one day, we will know what that is. And we remember that these problems are only temporary, for when we go to be with the Lord or Jesus returns, we will have new bodies with none of these worries and problems. Thank God this is not the end and this world is not our final home. GSD puts life into a new perspective. Things that used to be a big deal no longer are and we are forced to focus more on what really matters. We have been connected to other GSD families from all over the world and formed relationships we never would have had otherwise.
God will use their and our weaknesses for His glory and purposes. They will be used to bring others to a knowledge of God and His work and power in their lives. I have seen God's hand in Jimmy's life over and over again. And if even one person finds Christ through James, Anna, Eva, Petra, Chris, or me, these temporary struggles will all be worth it. After all, that is all that really matters in the end."
