We need to raise $4,000 as we desperately need funds to cover a variety of expenses.
Chablis last week before she got sick.
First and foremost , we had to rush one of our favorite kitties to our vet, Hog Mountain Animal Hospital where we found out she had contracted FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a deadly disease for young cats. We agreed to have her hospitalized and we rushed to get the preferred treatment overnighted to us so Doctor Hernandez could begin treatment. FIP has been a deadly diseases until recently, and the treatment was just released as an oral medicine which required 3 months of treatment.
Sadly, despite beginning treatment, little Chablis passed this past Monday. While we will have the final bill in the next day or two, the estimate for her 4 days of hospitalization is about $3,000.

In addition, we want to get six heated cat houses, for outdoor cats in our area and help FabuCats, our new Rescue Partner who rescued 8 cats that we could not take in ourselves.
Mamma Marina and her three babies were rescued from the street this summer! All three babies are now adopted, and Mom is next!
OUR HISTORY
Crysstal and I have been in rescue since 2017 when we first rescued 3 puppies left out in the coldest weather of that year. Since then, working with TLC Pet Rescue and Freedom Bridge Animal rescue, we have fostered and transported over 200 dogs and cats. Last year we started rescuing cats! Now, almost two years later, we have rescued over 80 cats, spayed and neutered over 150 local strays to prevent unwanted kittens, and have incorporated our rescue as Axanar Animal Rescue (A federal 50`1c3).
Currently, we work with a major Pet Store who host our adoptable cats and in the first 7 days of working with them we adopted out 7 cats! So we think we can help even more cats now.

OUR TNR WORK
TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) is critical to managing the cat population. We have TNRd over 150 cats in the past 3 years. Along with the new Walton Humane Society, that got a grant to do 500 spay/neuter surgeries this year (They passed that number already!) we are helping slow the cat population growth in Walton County.
